Lockbolt (ERS) Ltd partner with FSP in the USA to supply their range of Lockbolts and tooling which are fully interchangeable with the Huck Arconic C50L ® Huckbolt ® fasteners and tooling.
Hillhead exhibition is the quarrying and mining event of the year with all the big players attending and Lockbolt enjoyed a steady stream of visitors to their exhibition stand each and every day.
It’s always good to have big news for an exhibition and this year was no exception for Lockbolt. The timing was perfect to announce their expansion into the North American crushing and screening markets.
The Lockbolt pin and collar fastening system is already supplied to the U.S. Rail Car programs. By joining forces with Illinois based FSP (Federal Screw Products) to supply the crushing and screening market Lockbolt and FSP are diversifying in a manner both natural and exciting for both companies.
This launch was further publicised by an article published on Aggregates Manager the official media partners for Hillhead 2018 exhibition that can be seen in the link below.
The Lockbolt Fastening system is a heavy-duty fastening system offering a high-strength, vibration-proof installation with high shear and clamp loads, matching the engineering standards, material specification, and performance data of the Huck Arconic C50L ® (Huckbolt®) and 3LC and LC Collar fastening system and is fully interchangeable with customers’ existing tooling.
Held in a limestone quarry in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside, Hillhead is the largest exhibition of its kind anywhere in the world. Continually adapting, it provides a spectacular and unique setting for exhibitors and visitors alike to do business among live working demonstrations and static displays.
With an unprecedented 546 exhibitors and almost 20,000 trade visitors in attendance, Hillhead 2018 was the biggest and most successful show to date.
The general consensus among the exhibitors and visitors at this year’s Hillhead was that this was perhaps the best show yet with more live plant/equipment demonstrations, more new product and service launches, and more technological innovations than ever before.
